What we provide

Ask LOIS is a secure website providing a free legal online information service for community workers across NSW who are working with and responding to women with legal needs.

It provides free information and online training on legal issues such as:

Program history

2011

WLS NSW was successful in its application for a startup grant from the Attorney General’s Department Grants to Australian 
Organisations Program.

2013

WLS NSW received further funding to continue the project until 2015 through the Attorney General’s Department NBN Regional Legal Assistance Program.

Now

WLS NSW now funds Ask LOIS as an ongoing community legal education program.

Special Thanks

In 2019 WLS NSW was selected by UTS Shopfront at the Centre for Social Justice and Inclusion for a graduation project by a student Visual Communication team from the Faculty of Design, Architecture and Building to update and rebrand LOIS.
 Thanks to Angela La, Danielle Zhu, Eryn Jane Ly, Jessette Garcia, Zilu Zhu, who were supervised by Kate Dilanchian.
